During the examination, measurements were carefully performed, body tracings were done, drawings were created, and photographs were taken. In November 1997, a team of engineers from Epiphone and Gibson visited 'The Dakota' in Manhattan to examine John's Epiphone Casino. The guitar comes with the original hardshell case (no Lennon face for some reason), COA, paperwork, tags etc. In the photos it shows strap locks but the originals will be reinstalled. Very clean especially considering it’s coming up on 25 years old! One small finish check and a couple light marks on the headstock. Low serial number and one of the better examples you’ll ever find.
